The search is over! Lakeshore Learning carries Monkey Math, in store only. After months of searching and people telling me they were sold out and it is only sold online, I found it!!! I got the last 4 in the store. I can't wait to use these next year in Math Centers to teach the concept of equality and reinforce addition.
Hang an equal number of bananas on each hand. If your addition is correct, the monkey's arms will be level and his eyes will look straight. Love this self-correcting feature! |
FYI- You can also order this through Amazon. My kids love this center activity.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know. You can find it online at a lot of stores, even Toys R Us. I just wanted to purchase it in a store and not pay shipping. Plus, it was 20% off in the store too. Gotta go for those bargains!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I love monkeys! And that it's self correcting! Unfortunately I will have to look for it online!
ReplyDeleteHey! Thanks for stopping by! Your site is adorable. I'll have to pass it along to my first grade buddies. I added you to my sqworl sidebar. You are tucked away with the other first grade blogs I have listed. If you want to check them out go to my blog and look under blogs by grade level on the right sidebar.
ReplyDeleteI love all the activities you share! The monkeys are sooo cool!

Thoughts of a Third Grade Teacher
I know this is an old post, but I came to your blog through a pinterest pin. I have already printed a lot of your stuff (domino parking lot, triangle facts, fact family houses and people). I also bought 2 sets of the monkey's from Amazon because of you. They were $13.99 each and I had $16 worth of Amazon points..and I got free shipping. The annoying part is that they now charge tax! I don't even teach 1st, but your stuff is good for 2nd too. Thank you for sharing your things!
ReplyDeleteYou are a good blogger, you have a good command of a topic like this, I want more from you, I have also some Useful Links to share.
